Care & Concern Meeting:
Next meeting is at 9am on Thursday 2nd September at the parish office. Care & Concern offers visitation and practical help to the sick and elderly of our parish.
New members are always welcome.

If you require transport to the First Friday Anointing Mass please contact the Parish Office 3372 5658. The Hospitality Group will provide morning tea after this Friday's Mass on 3rd September.
Date Claimer: The Parish Council is organising one outdoor Mass for the canonisation of Mary MacKillop followed by a bbq lunch on Sunday 17th October. If you can donate the use of a bbq on the day and/or would like to be a volunteer cook please call the parish office.

Ember Days
The First Fridays of Autumn and Spring (March and September) are special days of prayer and penance, focusing on the environment, the seasons and God's providence, by offering prayers of thanks and for needs of all people, especially for the productivity of the earth and for human labour.Lord God, you are indeed the loving Father who provides us with food for body and spirit.
Make our work fruitful and give us a rich harvest. Help us bring you glory by using well the good things we receive from you.
All-powerful Father, God of goodness, you provide for all your creation. Give us an effective love for our brothers and sisters who suffer from lack of food.
Help us do all we can to relieve their hunger, that they may serve you with carefree hearts.
